We’re at day 5 counting down to our departure from NJ on Sunday, November 17, 2019. Don has lived his entire life in NJ so for him especially this is huge. It's exciting to finally begin our adventure!

Here's the plan:
We take a week to drive to Placitas, NM for Thanksgiving with family, hitting Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, Kansas City and Denver on the way. According to Weather360, the path is supposed to be snow-free. Let's see what we get and whether Don's VW EOS can handle it.
NM for the week, leaving Dec 2 for Ensenada, Mexico for some warmer climes and a beautiful view of the sea.
To San Diego for a couple of days to see more family, then up to LA by Dec 9 where we stay in Marina Del Rey in an Airbnb.
Dec 14-26: we meet the kids in Seoul, Korea and take 12 days to tour that city and Vietnam.
Dec 27 drive to Tucson and stay for a few days
Dec 31 El Paso a cowboy New Years
Jan 1: drive to Austin, TX to iron out any last US details. and bc it's a cool city (keep Austin weird!)
Sell the car in Austin and leave Jan 31
